Comforts of Country Contest Official Rules
No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Limit one entry per household. To enter, complete and return the bound-in official entry card, enter online at www.countrysamplermagazine.com or write your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, plus the hidden phrase on a 3-1/2" x 5" postcard and mail to: Country Sampler Comforts of Country Contest, c/o Country Sampler, PO Box 4127, St. Charles, IL 60174. Entries must be received by 9/30/10. Neither Country Sampler nor its agencies are responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or postage-due mail. All entries become the property of Country Sampler Group and none will be returned. The giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada age 21 and older. Employees of Country Sampler Group, Emmis Publishing LP, affiliated companies, agents, advertising/promotional suppliers and the immediate families of each may not enter. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply. Void where prohibited.

One grand-prize winner, five first-prize winners, and 10 second-prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about 10/7/10, and winners will be notified by phone and/or mail. Grand prize is a collection of kitchen accessories valued at $365, including a wood trash bin/dry sink from Hill’s Country Furniture; Pantry Bowl Collection set of two, The Heart of Homestead set of three plates and matching wire stand, and 1858 Mason Jar Collection soap dispenser, salt-and-pepper set and oil lamp from AtHome America; plus a set of two wire baskets. Five first prizes consist of Country Sampler “Celebrate” all-purpose bowls valued at $35 each. Ten second prizes consist of cherry-motif tote bags valued at $20 each. Total estimated prize value: $740.

Winner(s) may be obligated to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity releases within 14 days of notification. In the event of noncompliance with this requirement, prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. If prize is returned to Country Sampler Group as undeliverable, it will be awarded to an alternate winner. Acceptance of a prize shall constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Country Sampler Group may use the winner’s name, address, likeness and/or prize information without limitation for promotional purposes without any further consideration or payment. Winner agrees that the prize is awarded upon the condition that Country Sampler Group and its respective agencies or employees shall have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize.

Taxes and additional shipping charges of prizes are the responsibility of the winners. Prize value is based on shipping to continental U.S. destinations. Only one prize per household or address.
