Dear Country Sampler
This may be an odd question. On age 28 of your Jan 2010 magazine the owner of the house Michael and Laura Spoerl's she has a collection of turkey transferware platters. I was wondering if you can give her my email lkholley@hotmail.com I have one of these platters that has been sitting in my cupboard for at least 25 years I have never used it, it was given to me by someone, anyway I just set it in my goodwill pile. I was wondering if she would like to have it, free of course, I will send it to her. Knowing that it will go to someone who will enjoy it makes it a lot more fun to give it away since it will never get any use in my house. Please let me know or give her my email address. Thank you Linda Holley

Thanks guys, I never got a response so it's off to the goodwill this weekend, unless someone else is interested in it. Like I said, it is free. I just really don't have any place for it and I'm so afraid it will get broken in the cupboard, you know how things can fly away in those places.

I wish I had thought to tell you this early. Laura's best friend as an online shop called Buttermilk Junction. There is a place where you can ask a question. I am sure if you told her about the platter she could let you know how to get in touch with Laura! ~Dan~

Click on your name, click on message, and then click on inbox. You should be able to view the private message then. I am glad that you found someone who is interested. ~Dan~
