It's the perfect thing to drink when it's so hot--and we've had a heat wave lately (it was 105 for 2 days in a row!!!!). I never heard of it while I was growing up in Minnesota, but it's all over in the South!! I just make 2 quarts of lemonade (using Country Time pink lemonade crystals) then add one squeezed lemon, a little sugar, and about 10 blended strawberries. It's just heavenly!!

Country Time also makes a Strawberry Lemonade mix. but adding fresh berries is always a good thing!!! and yes it is delicious!!

I think I had some of the sugar free Kool Aid stuff a few years ago. That was it. I don't even know if they still make it. Cindy

Strawberry lemonade is yummy! I sue the Country Time kind but I will have to try your idea!

Well being from west texas where it seems to always be 100 or close we drink a lot of lemonade.In a small town close to the have "Ol Sorehead trade days and everyfood vender has it.I love to make cherry lemonade with Koolaid and add fresh lemons.MMMMM good
