I would like to start a blog but I have no idea where to go to get started. Can someone give me some help or point me in the right direction?

I'm on blogspot, it's very easy. It's a lot of fun, only you have to
advertise yourself to get followers. I like doing it for myself.

It sounds like you've gotten lots of help, but here's the link to blogspot (or blogger). It is VERY easy, believe me, or I wouldn't be doing it! Go to this link and it talks you through getting started and creating your own blog. From there, if you have questions, feel free to ask and some of us can help you. I just learned alot by doing!

Sometime, I'd like to look more further into this too. Maybe when things here get more finished up. I do enjoy reading the blogs, but I don't get how to leave a comment, the only way I have found is if they have their e-mail there too. I guess you have to have a password or something. I have to have DH help me with this stuff, he's better at it than I am. I do want to learn these things though so I can participate more. Talking to the screen and oohing and aahing doesn't really count.

I don't know a lot about computers but I learned that if you have a "Google Account" (I mean an e-mail with Google, with your ID and password) everthing is easier..
I found in some Blogs a "special place" where you can leave your greetings (I adopt the same for my blog, but I don't know if it is easy to leave greetings if you have no Google Accounts....)

Well Laura, I thank you for that information. I guess I don't know if we have a google account or not, I'll have to ask my DH. The only way I have ever been able to leave a response has been if they have their e-mail there on the site. This is something I'm definately interested in learning more about. I think it would be alot of fun too.

I have my blog but the funniest thing is to visit other blogs and exchange ideas, comments etc.
