Hi William,

I have a question about registration.  I entered a password that had 6 characters, but when I checked my registration after I logged in, my password has 9 characters!!  How can I fix my password so I know what it is?

Thanks.

Punky,

The masked characters displayed do not correlate to the number of characters in your password. When a password field is masked it displays a set number of characters to mask the number of characters in your actual password. This is to increase security by making it difficult to figure out how many characters are in your password.

Hopes this helps,

William

Thanks, William!

I have one more question--when I try to save my avatar, I get an error message:

"Server Error in '/' Application.  A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client (signature="

"

Can you help please?

The same message appeared when I thought my password was wrong and tried to reenter and save it.

Wohooooo! We made it.

Great looking site I must say.

The only thing I can't find and possibly there isn't one and that's 'recent posts'.

I used this alot - it helped me find all the new posts since I was on.

Is there something like this, or is it to come yet?

Karen

Trying to add an avatar (my son just taught me what that meant) and my favorite quote.  I know how to add them but I can't save them, I keep getting a server error message.  Help!

I have a program where I can open the picture and type it in.

I can do one for you and send it to you through e-mail if you want?

Send me the Avatar and the name you want on it and I'll return it....

Lorraine, are you talking about the Avatar I have? If not, I don't think there are any to get on here but use the link I left in the message for Basketmom:  http://www.primlicious.com/primfreebies.html - there are lots there....just right click them and save to your desktop. If you want a name in it I can do it for you too.

Can someone please tell me how to add an avatar to my profile?  Also, how do you get your signature at the bottom of your post?   All help will be greatly appreciated!!

Ok, I figured out the signature part but just can't get the avatar to be saved.  It tells me that the download was successful but then a get an error message.  Arrrrrgh!  This is so frustrating!

Hello everyone!  I just joined this forum, and after I joined, I was hoping to change my password, (like I do at other forums) but I see I am not able to at this one.  Can anyone here tell me how I am able to change it?  I certainly would appreciate it!  Also, I see I am not able to add my avatar. sad

I am new to the forum.  I have a question for Karen Martinsen. I just love your home.  I would like to know what color and kind of red paint you used in your family room on the fireplace and cabinets.  Thank you.

Ruthie~  Welcome to the forum.  You may want to post your question in the general decorating part of the forum.  Also, if you have your CS that Karen's house was in, you can look in the resource guide in the back to see if the colors are listed there.  Good luck, and welcome.  ~Dan~
