Hi,
I was wondering if you could please remove the banner that appears on the side of the posts. It is impossible to click on the "post" link when the banner is there. It totally blocks the post button.
I can block the banner when I use firefox, but not internet explorer.
Thanks for your help.

Although it's probably not going to do a bit of good I will also add my 2-cents here & ask that the banner be removed. It also partially blocks what you are typing & partially blocks photos that have been posted. Other websites have a little "X" on their banners so the banners pop up, you see them, but then you can "X" them out so you can have a full view of the page.

I somehow removed my banner a few months ago. I don't remember how I did it. I think Punky or Karen told us how. Hopefully someone can help! ~Dan~

I can't remember if I knew at all how to do it but it's still always there for me too.
I find that when I post something and want to edit I can't click on the edit button because it's covered.
ARGGGGGHHHH!

Here's something that I found on the "search" that might work...

I right-clicked on the blasted ad banner that always covers up the most interesting part of a post or photo and there was a "Block images from.... " option and I clicked it. The annoying ad banner is gone- at least for the moment! Deborah Kay

We tried this before, and they ignored us. I can't do anything to get rid of that annoying banner. Not only can I not read what anyone else rights, when I am posting I can't use the thingy on the side to move up and down to edit my post or to be able to reread it to make sure it makes sense. It is very frustrating. Cindy

It never worked for me either.
I sent a message to admin. about logging on for a couple members and mentioned this layout!

Karen, I sure hope there is something they can do to fix that annoying label for us and to let the other members be able to log on here again. Hopefully!!

I have always found it interesting that so many of
you have problems with the banner along the side, but I have never had
that problem, either with Firefox or Internet Explorer.
However, a few times I have logged in from my work
computer, which I almost never do, and I did have the problem with the
banner. I was thinking about what was different on my work computer
and my home computer.
And, then I realized that the monitor at my work is
much smaller than the monitor at home. I measured the one at work and
it is 17" diagonal, and the one at home is about 20" diagonal.
I wonder if the banner could be causing problems for those with smaller monitors and not for those with larger monitors.
How about it? Does that seem possible? I really don't know much about such things.
Just for curiousity, those of you who have trouble with the banner, what size monitor do you have?
