 In our new home there are cupboards a-plenty which I love, I just can't stand the look! They were done in the 80's - eggshell in colour with, I think, oak trim. The kitchen/diningroom is the gathering space for our family and has always been. I need to create a warmer atmosphere and would like to be able to modify to a softer country, homey feel....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have similar cupboards in my laundry room. I'm planning on decoupaging over the doors, or painting them. Perhaps you should post your question over in the General Decorating area and if you have a pic that would be helpful too! You'll probably get more of a response over there. Good luck!! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
