Hi i was looking for a nice mustard color for my living room I decorate with attic herloom and black have white walls now with wood ceiling and tan colored carpet tricolored it is called My kitchen is right beside my living room being all open wha tcolor should my kitch bulk head be to accent this mustard color I have oak cupboards with oak lamiate floor in kitchen I got olive furniture in the livign room and a mustard color chair black coffee table maybe i can take a photo for advice, thanks tammy

When you described your kitchen off the living room, I could picture the walls in a darker orangey/rusty color--maybe even a shade of Paprika!
A picture would be nice to see so we could get a better feel for the colors you have.

My kitchen and diningroom are basically one room. Most of the walls are a sunny/mustardy yellow, but one is a dark terra cotta. I've had it this way for about three years. We'll be painting again soon, and the colors will remain the same, but lightened. Dark red also sounds like it would be nice. I love red kitchens.

Hi.. any pictures of these rooms with color names would be so helpful! I have the same thing, my kitchen is connected with my livingroom... I have oak cabinets and floors in the kitchen, light tan carpet (soooo in need of new carpet but that can wait!).. I want to paint but not sure of what colors work together! Tammy.. what colors did you go with??? Thanks!

Hi Tammy, I'm Christie from Mooresville Indiana. I have my kitchen, dinning room and hallway all painted what I call a mustard yellow. It is called Fall Leaf or Leaves, satin finish. I got it from Wal-mart. I love it. Check out my blog and you can see all my rooms on there. Hope this helps.
