Wood...LOL Actually scrap wood LOL

OK, I'm still new at it, and still need to decide how I want to paint them but...

Love them.  I also love scrap wood, have a shed full of odds and ends, always digging thru them for that just right piece.  And then sometimes I can't get in my shed and go to Lowes and get the wood.....Anyone else ever have that problem???

grammypam, I'm a little nervous with the saw too, I have been mostly using a jigsaw and sander .

Finally got my paint and stain on the toaster cover....I'm going to try a different stain on my next project, hopefully less smelly..Those fumes really get to me..embarrassed

What do you all think?

I did a black over red with a walnut stain. It's a similar finish to what our new itchen light will be,
