I am totally illiterate when it comes to blogging. I've stumbled upon a few that are very interesting but how do you "join" them? I can visit them easily enough by bookmarking them but isn't there more to it than that? How do I comment on things or comunicate with the blogger or participate in giveaways & the like?

Hi Shirlee, there should be place on the right side of the page. Just scroll down a bit
and you should see pictures of the people that follow that blog. Click on follow this blog.
I think you might have to open a google account and sign in that way. Hope this helps

Don't feel bad Shirlee. I too am having problems and I can't respond on blogs. I have even tried the google acct route. Then it won't let me post and when I try to set up another acct it tells me I already have one. Errrrrrrrr So I tend to read and not comment and don't join in on give aways.

Question about blogs:
I went to a blog that I liked, logged in, and clicked on Follow. My question is how do I get notification that the blog has been updated? Do I need to log in to my google account or is there a way to get notifications sent to my email address which is not on google?
